Bondi Beach needs no introduction. It is not only Sydney’s most famous beach, but also one of the most famous beaches in the world. It is home to one of the oldest surf life saving clubs in the world and one of Australia’s oldest swimming clubs, the Bondi Icebergs.
What makes Bondi Beach unique is that it is only 8km east of Sydney’s CBD which you can easily get to via public transport. There are a lot of activities at the beach, from swimming and surfing to sunbathing and a spectacular coastal walk. Beach picnics are popular, and there are some great beachside cafes and restaurants with amazing views of the beach and the sparkling blue ocean. It also has a vibrant beach culture and is a definite place to visit especially in the summer months when it is buzzing with activity. It is beautifully nestled between 2 headlands and the scenery from either end of the beach is spectacular. It’s hard to believe that such a gem is located so close to Sydney’s city centre.
There is nothing like taking a photo of Bondi with one of the most incredible sunrises. This one was a full 360 degree bonanza. The whole sky just lit up in every direction. I shot this in the middle of the beach facing to towards North Bondi. The headland is also known as ben Buckler Point.

PRINT TYPE DESCRIPTIONS
ILFORD Galerie Smooth Pearl – 310gsm
GALERIE Smooth Pearl Paper features the very latest HDR (High Dynamic Range) optically clear nanoporous coating for outstanding imaging performance. The high density heavyweight base has a natural photographic white tint to produce prints with excellent colour gamut and high sharpness.
The pearl surface eliminates glare and finger prints giving the true look and feel of a photographic print.
The photograph will be printed using UltraChrome K3™ ink which can produce archival prints with amazing colour fidelity and gloss level, while providing consistently stable colours. Incorporating high density pigments, Epson UltraChrome K3 produces prints with an extremely wide colour gamut allowing the reproduction of colours that were originally envisioned at the point of capture.
METTALIC Pearl – 250gsm
This paper has to be seen to be believed, it’s really gorgeous. It’s a high gloss media with a remarkable metallic pearl finish. With the right images it can really make them sing like no other paper – with a highly three dimensional look.
This paper offers exceptional image clarity and brilliant colour reproduction with a high-gloss metallic finish.
The photo is mounted to the back of a UV resistant acrylic glass sheet, creating an airtight bond and letting you view the image through a crystal-clear glossy surface. This mounting process preserves your images from scratching and fading and creates a near 3-D stunning visual effect. It also gives the image more depth and colour saturation due to the clarity of the acrylic sheet.
The image is backed with a white 2mm Dibond to add rigidity and use an aluminium sub frame to float it from the wall. Because of the different light penetration and refraction of acrylic glass compared to normal glass, the colours are more brilliant and the image sharper than compared to standard glass in a picture frame.
The image is printed on metallic paper for a pearl like finish. It comes with an easy hanging system and hanging bracket so you can put it up on your wall with ease.
The canvas prints are printed using the finest quality archival inks on cotton canvases.
The canvas prints are coated with an invisible polymer coating which creates a water resistant surface and further protects colours from fading. This finish ensures no glare or reflection and retains the texture of the cotton canvas.
The canvas is stretched around a timber frame and it is ready to hang.
